Centerville Church of Christ

Branch Out

Our Wednesday evening gathering time is dedicated to serve and bless others in our community.

Why Branch Out?

Partnering in God's Mission

Stretching our Faith

Unity through Service

Stepping out to actively participate in God's work of restoration and reconciliation in our community
Moving beyond our comfort zones allows us to grow in reliance on the Spirit
Forging deeper bonds of fellowship as we work side-by-side for a common purpose
Typical Wednesday night
Most Wednesdays, we will meet at our building or another location and get to work!

We communicate the plans for each week through an annual calendar, weekly announcements during Sunday services, and text reminders.

Most weeks start at 6:30pm and end between 7:30pm and 8pm.

We pray together, fellowship, and engage with those in our community where they are.
Example Wednesday night activities
  • Making blankets or snack bags for Ronald McDonald House families
  • Prayer walks through key places in our communities
  • Eating s'mores and reading stories with local low-income apartments
  • Delivering meals to those experiencing homelessness
  • Cleaning toys for Hannah's Treasure Chest
  • Playing bingo at Ronald McDonald House
  • Cleaning up community spaces
  • Tutoring underprivileged children at our building
What do the kids do?
We work closely with the Children's Ministry to ensure that there are age-appropriate ways for children to be involved in the activities that we are participating in. Often, the kids are our most fearless evangelists!
How do you choose what to do?
Our goals are simple: we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We want to make our corner of the world a little brighter, and show those around us how much God loves them.

We focus on activities that are engaging, impactful, and that our members are passionate about. We're always open to new ideas!
