Be Still
These past couple of weeks have moved at a very high pace for my family. I personally have had a lot of things at church, at home, and at work that have kept me busy. The fast pace of this world can be overwhelming at times. Each one of us have commitments that are important for us, and we work our schedules around to try and keep up. This week I have had a chance to slow down. To sit back and reflect on all the things that God has done for us. Psalms 46:10 tells us, “Be still and know that I am God I will be exalted among the nations I will be exalted in the earth!”
What a great reminder in scripture to slow down and remember that God is in control. No matter what our schedule has in store for us tomorrow, we should always go about our daily lives putting God first. I hope that this week is great for you, and if you’re feeling rushed, I pray you will get the opportunity to slow down a little bit and be still.
