We are honored to have you here with us today. Whether you are one of our members or a first time visitor or here with a family member, you honor us with your presence. We are a group of New Testament Christians seeking to call things by Bible names, to do things in Bible ways, to adhere to the teaching of the New Testament church as closely as possible. We seek to be the New testament church just as it is set forth in scripture. We believe that truth and love are both important. Jesus said that His disciples would be known for their love (John 13:34-35).
Our mission as individuals and as the Lord's church is to reach out and seek to share the truth of God's word with others (Matthew 28:19-20). To send the light of the Gospel as the message of salvation. As the Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."
On behalf of the Elders and all our members we want to welcome you today and to encourage you to participate in our worship to god. We also want to invite you to join us for lunch that has been prepared in the Family Life Center immediately following worship service. We look forward to our time together with you in worship and fellowship. If you have questions about the Bible or about the worship service, please do not hesitate to ask. If we here at the Centerville Church of Christ can be of any spiritual assistance, let us know.

God Bless- Todd
I came across this the other day; the author is unknown, but the message is clear about our commitment and excitement of being a Christian:
"I'm part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I'm finished and down with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power. My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, deluded, or delayed. I will no flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won't give up, shut up, let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, preached up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own, He will have no problem recognizing me, for my banner will be clear--I'm a Christian!"  -Amen
